My TV screen is filled with vicious lies, mendacity of the worst sort, propaganda that puts Orwell's creations to shame.

The talking head in the TV was asked: can you explain for the simple people out there what is going on here? His reply: well you know, these Settlers, who came reclaim their land from the occupiers after Israel repelled a co-ordinated Arab attack in 1967, are now being evicted by their own government, because Sharon has caved in to terror.

This with shot of the sufferings of the Settlers. Settlers? No, make it pioneers, taming the hostile surrounding, creating a new land, like the Pilgrims who came to these shore score of years ago. Settlers? No, more like the frontier of the civilisation against tyranny and oppression of the Evil. Evil, yes, that's right, they are also showing evil - those green masked, AK 47 wielding Palestinians. Palestinians? No, make them terrorists.

Of course we live in a wonderful time where the night is day and black is white. Where War is made with an option to tick for casus beli. Besides, when was history narrating the truth? It has always been written by the stronger side. Thus the transgressor has become the victim, and the occupied has become occupier.

But time is not on their side. Between the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean, there are more Arabs than Jews. The occupiers have made sure that there won't be Palestine next to Israel. And now the other side will make sure that there won't be an Israel next to Palestine. No, Palestine will replace Israel.

It begins with Gaza. Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
