Boffin 1: I need a cool name for my blog.

Me: What will you blog on?

Boffin 1: Travel stuff.

Boffin 2: You should have something to do with econometrics.

Me: How about random walk?

Boffin 1: Random walk, yeah, but I think I have a drift.

Boffin 2: Random walk with a drift, yeah I like that.

Boffin 3: That’s too long for a name.

Boffin 2: How about co-integrated.

Me: Is there a co-blogger?

Boffin 1: No, just me.

Boffin 3: So it has to be spurious.

Me: That doesn’t make any sense.

Boffin 1: I like spurious.

Boffin 2: I think random walk with a drift describes me.

Boffin 3: I’m definitely non-stationary.

Me: I think I’m trend stationary.
