On Khayyam

A wellknown summary:

The poet wonders what life is about
The answer he decides comes to "naught"
but with wine and bough and bread and beauty
he resolves to stick it out

A lesser known one:

Do not fret if today be sweet
Enjoy life in its every bit
With wine and verses and beauty
And forget logic with which you had a tryst
