Two bad bio-pics

You know a bio-pic is bad when you become more interested in a supporting character instead of caring about the protagonist. This happened to me twice recently. I watched Ali, and found myself wondering about Malcolm X, and I watched The Rising: ballad of Mangal Pandey and wanted to know what happens to Kaptan Gordon.

We know what happened to Malcolm X: they murdered X and tried to blame it on Islam. There’s even a bio-pic by Spike Lee, though I’d recommend reading the Autobiography.

But what about Kaptan Gordon? Was there ever a real Captain William Gordon? Hmmm… Amar, any idea?
